Cafe - Rain and Music
Our opening scene is a cafe on a rainy day. There's a woman with bright blue hair huddled among a group of people, singing along to the guitar one of them is playing. The only barista on duty today is playing with his lip ring and examining his fangs in the reflection on a coffee pot. A student wizard, a gnome, and a dryad are poring over stacks of books, muttering to each other about exams and papers and "Professor Mireroot's an evil old hag." (It doesn't help that her grandmother was, in fact, a hag.) And a goddess smirks at her phone as she finishes the last of her drink. Something Big is about to happen.
But not here.
