For the Love of Coffee
You sit in the corner, sipping your coffee and skimming your book. You don't need to be there specifically, but maybe it's just the calm atmosphere that soothes you. Or maybe it's your barista that you see every day you come and who knows your name and your order by heart. Maybe it's the chalkboard art or maybe it's just the smell. Either way, you leave a tip at your table, and as you second guess yourself you take the scrap of paper that you'd scribbled your number on and shove it back into your pocket. Maybe tomorrow.
