Odd Hours Café
At any odd hour of the day, this cafe is open to any writer (and anyone else who needs to get some work done). All the tables here have just the right amount of space so that you feel communal but not cramped, and your friends can only peek at your screen if you let them. Every spot in the cafe has the perfect amount of outlets at hand, and an adapter if you forgot one--not to mention ink refills and a pencil sharpener. Your table and your chair are always the right size, shape, and height for you, and your seat is padded enough for comfort but not so much that you'll fall asleep. It's got a window view of exactly what you want to look at when you glance up, yet it's never distracting. The cafe's menu has the perfect balance of baked goods, sweets, and full meals, and everything you like to drink while you write. (It smells amazing.) There's a progress pride flag mural on one wall, a fireplace (or waterfall, depending on the season) on another, and green plants in the corners.
It doesn't matter whether it's 2 AM or midafternoon; the coffee is always hot, the boba are always chewy, the pastries are always fresh, and a table is always waiting for you. Remember to get up, stretch, and hydrate occasionally! Bring your own music.
